What PurpletGo does in BambooHR
Keep your PurpletGo directory in sync with BambooHR and open offboardings automatically when employees are terminated.
- Imports your employee directory when you connect, again every night at 03:00 UTC, and whenever an admin clicks Sync Now.
- Opens an offboarding automatically for anyone marked as terminated who does not already have one in progress, and notifies your admins.
- Records each automatically opened offboarding in the audit log.

- A BambooHR API key.
- Your BambooHR company subdomain.

Open Integrations, find HRIS Sync, click Connect, and choose BambooHR.

Enter your API key and subdomain, and confirm your password.

The first sync runs straight away and shows how many employees were imported.
Good to know
- One HR system can be connected at a time.
- Offboardings the sync opens use the termination date from your HR system as the exit date. If the HR system has no date, the day of the sync is used, so check it.
