What PurpletGo does in Ping Identity
End a departing employee's PingOne sessions and disable the account, blocking federated sign-in.
- Ends the user's PingOne sessions.
- Disables the user.
- Attempts to remove the user from their groups, with the outcome shown in the result details.
- Runs when an admin or HR user revokes access for the offboarding, alongside the other systems selected for that person, and the result is recorded as revoked, failed, or needs manual action, with the reason.
What you need
- Your PingOne Environment ID and region (NA, EU, CA, or APAC).
- A PingOne worker app (Client ID and Client Secret) with the Identity Data Admin role.

In the PingOne Admin Console, create a worker app with the Identity Data Admin role.

In PurpletGo, open Integrations, find Ping Identity, and click Connect.

Enter the Environment ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and region, and confirm your password.

- Supports PingOne cloud environments. PingFederate is not supported.
