What it does

What PurpletGo does in HubSpot

Add opted-in former employees to HubSpot as contacts, and remove a departing employee's HubSpot seat.

Creates or updates a HubSpot contact for each former employee who opts in to the alumni network, with an alumni status that shows rehire eligibility.
With the separate HubSpot (Admin) connection, removes the departing employee's HubSpot seat while keeping the records they own.

What you need

A HubSpot private app token with crm.objects.contacts.write for alumni sync.
The crm.schemas.contacts.read and crm.schemas.contacts.write scopes on the same token, so PurpletGo can create the alumni_status contact property if it is missing.
A second private app token with settings.users.write for seat removal.

Set up HubSpot in PurpletGo

For alumni sync, open Integrations > Alumni Engagement, choose HubSpot, paste the token, and confirm your password.
