What it does
What PurpletGo does in Typeform
Let an exit interview template be answered in your own Typeform, and have the completed response recorded against the offboarding.
- Puts one webhook on the form you choose, under its own name, so your other webhooks on that form are left alone.
- Records a completed response against the offboarding named in the form's hidden field, mapped onto your template's own questions, so the exit interview analytics, the themes and the sentiment read it exactly as one entered by hand.
- Deletes the response in Typeform when an erasure request erases it in PurpletGo, so the raw answers are not left behind.
What you need
- A Typeform personal access token.
- A form carrying a hidden field named purpletgo_offboarding_id, which is how a response names the departure it belongs to.

Set up Typeform in PurpletGo
- 1
Open Integrations and connect Typeform with your access token.
- 2
Open Settings, Exit Interviews, pick the template, and choose the Typeform form to answer it in.
- 3
Map each Typeform question to a question on your template. Answers you do not map are not stored.
Good to know
- Responses taken this way are identified, not anonymous: the offboarding id travels in the form's hidden field. Do not describe a form connected here as anonymous to the person answering it.
- One form per template.
- File upload answers are not stored, because the file stays in Typeform where an erasure in PurpletGo cannot reach it.
- Typeform reached general availability on full coverage of its own connector and of the webhook that receives responses, not on a run against a live Typeform account.
Why this matters
Companies that already run their exit surveys somewhere do not want a second form to chase, and the answers end up in a tool the offboarding record cannot see. Taking the response back into the record means the themes, the sentiment and the reporting cover every departure rather than the ones that happened to be typed in twice.
