Setup

Set up Iru (formerly Kandji) in PurpletGo

  1. 1

Open Integrations, find Device Management, choose Iru and click Connect.

  2. 2

Paste the subdomain, region and API token, and confirm your password.

Good to know

  • Read only. Iru can lock and erase a device, but the paths for those actions are not published, so PurpletGo does not call them. Wiping stays a job for a person in Iru.
  • Only devices enrolled in Iru are visible.

Why this matters

Knowing which Mac a leaver actually holds, rather than which one a spreadsheet says they hold, is what makes asset recovery finish instead of stall.
